BIOTECH INNOVATION provides a complete range of sample storage tubes designed to fit the 96-well, 48-well, or 24-well ANSI/SLAS format storage racks. Our extensive selection includes tubes with volumes from 0.30ml to 6.00ml, making them ideal for a variety of common laboratory storage applications. Tubes are available non-coded, with alphanumeric coding, or with a unique 2D Data-Matrix code on the tube bottom, which can be optionally paired with a 1D barcode on the tube side. BIOTECH INNOVATION also offers specialty tubes, such as the Tubestrip-8 and Amber tubes for light-sensitive samples.  

Our sample tubes are manufactured to the highest quality standards and are suitable for a wide range of sample types, including tissue, blood, serum, urine, DNA, and chemical solvents. Most BIOTECH INNOVATION tubes are compatible with temperatures from Vapor Phase LN2 to +100 °C, making them a perfect fit for biobanks and biobanking applications. Constructed from high-purity, medical-grade polypropylene, the tubes are free from detectable RNase and DNase contamination. Additionally, they are produced in a certified Class 7 cleanroom environment, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and pristine quality. 

Different types of tube bottoms are available to accommodate various storage needs.

• V-bottom tubes are available for optimal sample retention.
• U-bottom or round bottom tubes allow for maximizing sample volume.
• Flat bottom tubes are an option for solid samples like tissue.

 BIOTECH INNOVATION offers tubes with an internal thread or external thread. Several cap types are available, including push caps, screw caps, ultra-low profile caps, and caps with enhanced grip, designed specifically for use with automated systems. Most caps come in a wide range of vibrant colors, enabling easy sample identification without the need for additional tools. 

2D barcoded tubes are highly compatible with automated systems, such as sample handlers, liquid handlers, and code reading/decapping equipment. For optimal performance, we recommend our authentic equipment, but our pre-barcoded sample tubes are compatible with a variety of other manufacturers’ labware. Our 2D barcoded tubes can be supplied quickly and with short delivery times. Additionally, the tubes are autoclavable and can be supplied gamma irradiated or treated with ethylene oxide, without compromising product performance.
